“Quenching our thirst for new knowledge” is the theme of the 6th Forest Engineering Conference that will take place April 16–19, 2018 in Rotorua, New Zealand.
Organized by the University of Canterbury School of Forestry, this truly international forest engineering event builds on the successful earlier conferences held in France, South Africa, Canada, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
It provides a great information exchange forum for both researchers and practitioners from the private sector. The event features workshops, technical sessions, a field trip, and networking opportunities. It will also showcase the local forest and equipment manufacturing industry that have implemented some world-leading developments, notably in steep slope operations.
FPInnovations contributes to the FEC technical committee and will be on site. We hope others from the Canadian forest sector will join us at this high-value event.
